The second version of the world's smallest ESP32: 15 × 21 × 4 mm with sensors, an IMU and a 64 × 32 OLED screen.
About · datasheet LC-2026 · Faro, Portugal
Hardware & firmware engineer and maker. I design and build electronics, embedded firmware, 3D prints, computer vision and AR/VR systems — from 10 mm PCBs to life-size robots and holograms.

Hi! I'm Luís Carlos, an electrical engineer from the University of the Algarve with a master's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering — and this is my portfolio.
I like the whole stack: drawing the schematic, routing the board, writing the firmware that wakes it up and the software people end up touching. Electronics, embedded programming, 3D printing, computer vision, augmented & virtual reality and much more.
Some builds are tiny — like the world's smallest Arduino and ESP32 boards, stacks of PCBs only 10 mm wide. Others are big enough to shake hands with you: a life-size 3D-printed humanoid robot, life-size holograms you can talk to, and interactive installations for brands and festivals.

The second version of the world's smallest ESP32: 15 × 21 × 4 mm with sensors, an IMU and a 64 × 32 OLED screen.

A cube with 24,576 LEDs and every bit of electronics inside — batteries included — rendering real-time animations straight from Unity 3D.

A life-size, 3D-printed humanoid robot with 26 motors and a Kinect v2 camera that lets it see and understand the world.
